Is this any different from all the other creams?  They say head to toe including the face but can you use it around the eyes?  I wish they would mention eyes when they tell you a product can be used "on the face".

@bargainsgirl   I use very rich emollient body creams so would not apply them on my face/eyes. They could be so heavy they'd clog pores and not do well under makeup.

Were you referring to a particular cream?

Shanus:  I meant to spell Whish and it autocorrected to which.  So the Whish brand is what I was asking about.

Re: Which Intense body cream

I consider facial products strictly for the face.  I would not put body creams on my face.

Tweak'd All-purpose Rescue Cream can be used as a face cream - I do it from time to time. I've used it as an eye cream, but only once in a great while, and only a tiny bit.  An intense body cream is usually a thick, heavier product.  Anything thick and heavy on the delicate skin under the eye will pull it down and make matters worse. Keep things lighter weight in that area.

Some body creams are thicker than others. I guess it would depend on how thick it is for it to be used on the face. I've used body lotions that are so thick that they could almost be a cream. Lotions are basically creams with more water in them. It's the butters which don't have water and those aren't usually formulated for the face any way.

I think to say that you should never use a body cream on your face is a generalized statement. You know your own skin better than anyone else and how it might do with any one product. Try it and see how it goes. There's no set of rules you have to go by.

  1. If you're so inclined you can edit the header of your thread by clicking the 3 horizontal dots on the upper right side of your original post. A box will open, select the edit option and retype WHISH in the header and hit POST. Should change that autocorrect and you may get more feedback from those who are specifically familiar with the product.

Hope this helps...

@bargainsgirl  - I agree with @SilleeMee about not being able to use a body cream/lotion on your face.  It depends on your skin type.  I'm currently using a body lotion on my face.

Same.  I can't even use the more super emollient face creams because I develop breakouts.
