Re: What skincare in your 30's??

I, personally, love my Purity and cannot imagine using anything else right now. It completely removes my makeup, including mascara and eye liner. It doesn't dry out my skin or make it feel tight after cleansing.

However, I do know that there are many posters here who have strong feelings against Purity, for various reasons. I can only attest to my personal experience, which has been nothing but positive. I've been using Purity for about 3 years, now - with no issues.

You mentioned that your skin is sensitive. I have rosacea, and can tell you that I get flare-ups whenever I use chemical SPF. I have to make sure that whatever SPF I use is a physical, not chemical.

I'm currently using Elta MD, with good results and no flare-ups. It is not a moisturizer, though. I use it on top of my treatment products, underneath my foundation.

I will look I to a physical SPF.. Hadn't thought about the difference between physical and chemical.... Argan oil broke me out.... I liked the tsv because it's simple and. It many steps.... But like I said still not sure it will work for me... I would like to have an SPF though.. I have never heard of Paula's choice .....

don't take my word for it, regarding the purity, just read the ingredient deck. I suspect you will be as surprised as I was. Apparently the name is intended to be ironic. The elta MD that Meow recommended is a good product and comes highly reviewed here

The Yves Rocher line has affordable, gentle skin care products. You can get them with SPF also. It's also quite easy to navigate their website. They have product lines specifically for woman in their 20's, 30's, 40's and so on. And just remembered another one that I've used. It was a gift to me when I was searching for something gentle enough for our daughter. It is Murad. Vit. C moisturizer. It was excellent as well. No breakouts or shine. They also had it with SPF. I hope you find something that you love. Let us know! Smiley Happy

Go to their website and check them out. They also review all of the different lines based on ingredients. It's an excellent product line that many of the ladies on these boards use. It's also a great resource for reviews on other lines. I like that their reviews are based purely on ingredients.

Re: What skincare in your 30's??

I'm currently using three things that I think are really key. In the mornings I use Paula's Choice Resist 2% BHA liquid and NCN Vitamin C Serum. At night I use Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Retinol Serum. As far as anti aging treatments, these are my favorite. I'm 39 by the way. Of course, the most important thing you can do is use a good sunscreen. I only use physical ones. My favorite is Andalou Naturals CC cream. It is spf 30 with 20% zinc oxide. Paula's Choice Resist Super Light spf 30 is also nice and has 13% zinc oxide. For oily skin I would recommend Paula's and for more dry skin (like me) I would recommend Andalou' s.
