 We must have grown up during the same time period, those are some of my absolute favorites.

Anyone remember Calvin Klein's makeup line in the deep red, oval packaging? Also before Ipsy, and other beauty subscription boxes, the originals: Cosmetique and Butterfly Beauty. I used to get those all the time in the late 70's/early 80's. Discovered so many items and makeup lines through them.

The products mentioned are such great memories!  I used a lot of them.

I also used:

Fragrances - Tabu, Intimate, L'Aimant, Youth Dew, Woodhue, as well as others.

When I was little, my Mom used Halo Shampoo on me.  I remember it had a really neat ribbed bottle, sort of like a beehive.

Twiggy makeup - Eye shadow, liner, etc.  I bought it at a department store.

Cover Girl powder compact, and liquid makeup.

LOVE's  "Tomato Glaze"  lip stick/gloss in the tube with the clear bubble top.

LOVE's mascaras. they had earth shades, "Lioness" was on of them, it was a taupey brown.  LOVE Eyeshadows in park ranger colors. this is the 70s...lol

Yardley Pot 'O Gloss shadows in green, blue and yellow

AZIZA mascara. don't dare shed any sort of tear while wearing it!

LOVE's Lemon fragrance. for some reason every girl  in that time frame walked around smelling like oranges, limes and lemons, wearing Mexican Wedding shirts and patched jeans

World of Beauty Club - once a month shipment - box of makeup full-size and samples

all through HS i dried my hair using the flexible hose attached to a hood dryer . Xmas 1974 i received a  Conair styler dryer with a  brush attachment. it wasn't quite like a real blow dryer - but it made my hair really smooth and straight...

I remember seeing Shelley Hack in those Charlie perfume commercials.  I never did try it, though.

I saved up my babysitting money for those beauty box subscriptions and would share the products I didn't want with my bff.  That's how I discovered the Jovan fragrances, Sweet Earth, some cool eye color products - boy we've come a long way, baby!  The box subscriptions are a dime a dozen now and not nearly as much fun or exciting as they were back then.
