Forgot all about Jontue ~ how about Emaraude in the elegant dark green bottle ~
@sallybusky wrote:OMG my memory of all these products is so strong that I can still remember their scents! Too many posters to mention, but thanks to those who reminded me of so many...Redken's Amino Pon soap...why is that not still around??? And...had anyone mentioned Jontue (J'ontue??) or Ciara? Forgive me if they were. Some great fragrances have been discontinued; yet every celebrity now thinks s/he has to have not one, but two or three. The market has been bombarded with soooo many that you know won't be around in five years.

Tame Creme rinse
Noxema - ick!

Boy, until I read this thread I never gave much thought to the decades of "gimmicks and new ingredients" that shampoo manufacturers had to come up with to get us to buy their product .... the competition is really incredible!!!

When I was dating my first serious boyfriend, I was wearing Ambush and he was wearing Canoe colognes! I thought they were just intoxicating!

My fave on my college guy friends was Aramis. I also like the name as it's the name of one of the Three Musketeers. I also likes British Sterling.

I did not have good luck with using this product, either. ![]()
I think that it was a great concept for its time, though.

It is not too long ago, but I cannot find Laura Geller's under eye sparkle primer? Any suggestions for alternatives?

I have to go back to the 60's for this.
Huge hair rollers (think soup cans!)
Noxema
Cover Girl Foundations (kind that turned orange!)
Dippity Doo
Tigress perfume
blue eyeshadow
whitish pink lipstick (as is Shawn K.)
headbands
Aquanet hairspray
Milk Bath bubble bath
Vo5 for hair shine

@QVCPhobe The best I've used is Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Shadow lasts without creasing and moving until I remove it.
