What products did you use "back in the day"?

[ Edited ]

For me, in my early teens, I so remember the original Clairol Herbal Essence, Body on Tap, Protein 21 and Lemon Up. All those fancy shampoos that replaced egg shampoo! Tame Cream Rinse was big too! Then came Sun-In.

Yardley Slicker was the lipgloss for me, loved that colorful tube! Eau de London was one of the first fragrances I used, after Revlon's Charlie of course!

ETA: Almost forgot! ANYTHING Bonne Bell!

What did you use or remember?

Aqua Net, some cheap drugstore black eyeliner, cheap liquid foundation at least a shade too dark, White Rain shampoo, Sun-In and more Aqua Net.

Charlie perfume and whatever that one was in the bottle shaped like an exclamation mark.

Breck (shampoo)

Aquanet (hairspray)

Noxema

Right Guard (one morning I mistook the Right Guard for the Aquanet while getting ready for school and gave myself quite a spraying of deodorant on my hair. My mother was not sympathetic to my plight and made me go to school that way.  We lived about 20 miles from my school and I had to catch the school bus. I could smell the Right Guard all day.  Couldn't wait to get home to wash my hair.)

Max Factor cosmetics

Faberge cologne

Jean Nate

So many more.....

Dippity Do!  I forgot about that one.  I used a lot of it back in the day.

The original Herbal Essence shampoo was my favorite when I was in junior high.  Every now and then I still try to find it.  I can't imagine why they don't bring it back.

Ugh so many bad things!

The main things I remember were:

Noxzema (cringe)

Sea Breeze astingent  (cringe)

St. Ives Apricot Scrub (cringe)

Sun-In (cringe)

Sunscreen of any type

I wish I could remember the name of the body spray I used to use. It was only found in a foo foo store in London but it was sooooo nice.

I wish when I was younger, we had all the cool brands of makeup that we have now lilke Urban Decay.
