Guess I go back a bit further . . . .   I loved Milkmaid lipstick - tasted and smelled like strawberries.  And my love of Noxzema goes way back to my early childhood years when I was always sunburned and Noxzema was the only soothing thing on the market. I still use it on my face as a cleanser and to this day I have never had a zit. Thanks, Noxzema.

First love of fragrance was Chanel #5, a gift from my cousin when I was 12. Felt so grown-up. Also loved White Shoulders fragrance in my early teen years.

Anybody remember Angel Face cosmetics?  I think it was made by Ponds. I purchased it at Woolworths.   I also remember a cleanser called Fresh Start.  Think you could use it as a cleanser and then as a blemish treatment on clean skin.

Good old Woolworths .... Tangee Lipstick, 10-0-6 Facial Cleanser and Max Factor Panstick.    I loved Chantilly and Heaven Scent cologne ... for a while.

Years later I moved to Los Angeles and got a job at Max Factor in Hollywood ..... I was practically a celebrity to a few girlfriends!  LOL

We must be about the same age, I used exactly the same thing. I had a little yardley eye shadow pot with 3 colors that I just loved. That was my first make-up purchase. I loved that herbal essence shampoo with the caricature of the girl on the front with the long blond hair. I miss "the day" I was born in 1958.

Not a specific product, but I remember lighting my eyeliner on fire and blowing it out before applying it. Yikes!
