I have a fav color that I have only seen under one brand.  It's the perfect grey taupe .  Revlon (4 color) Siren, or Goddess has some pink in another pan.  Still, the big pan is my color.  When in stores I'll pick several up so I won't run out!

Urban Decay Naked Palette and the colors Virgin, Naked, and Buck. Sometimes I throw Sin or Hustle in there, but those are the three I use the most.

Lately I have been using the IT Naturally Pretty Palette. I have a Sonja Kashik nuetral palette that is old but I still use.

If I had to pick one particular eyeshadow out of the too many that I have, it would have to be Laura Mercier's sateen (not shimmer) powder shadow in "Pewter," a very unusual mid-toned gray shade with a green undertone. It never fails to look good on me, and the formula is creamy enough for me to be able to blend it well -- something that is becoming more of an issue now.

I don't wear shadow, but use the colors as eye liners.  Soft, smooth, easy to apply and long wearing.
