Hi Beauty Friends!

Finally getting settled and went through my make-up collection and did a serious clean out. It was painful! But how many old and unused eyeliners do I really need to keep!?

Hard to toss palettes, but I went deep. Still sad over my Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette! I confess to having had way too many make-up brushes as well.

In the end, I filled a regular plastic shopping bag with assorted items that were old, outdated, didn't work or were just plain a bad purchase. The list would have taken me forever to type out!

Have to admit that I do feel "lighter"! I am banning myself from new cosmetics purchases for 6 months! LOL!!!

Hi beauties.  I used up:

Philosopy heart to heart hand cream 2oz.  this was a sweet citrus lightly scented.  I think they discontinued this.

Clinique smart repair serum.  Got this in the May beauty bag.  Would try it, but too many serums at the moment.

I used up my Kylie Skin moisturizer and replaced with same.  Have a great weekend everyone.

L'Oreal Age Perfect Lash Magnifying Mascara - full size.  I think this is a highly under rated mascara.  It is hard to find, at least in my area.  I had to order it from Amazon.  I replaced it with ELF Lash it Loud which I don't care for at all.

I just googled that mascara (I use a lot of L'Oréal mascaras) and they sell it at Ulta. Buy 2 get 1 free now. Online only. I will definitely buy this. Thanks for rec

Finished up a Mario Badescu Chamomile Eye Cream.  It was pretty good, but in the Badescu line I prefer the Olive Eye Cream.  Like the Olive however, the Chamomile is a bit thick in texture, so I only used it at night.

Hello all...I know this is in Beauty category...but I've been decluttering in general this week and feeling great about it!

So yesterday I was in "ruthless" mode, and I have an appt. to drop off "fall" clothing at consignment this week so...so far have culled 20 pcs from my wardrobe! And a pair of boots. A few bags, mostly business and laptop type bags (brought purses to them last time.) Out with the old, dated, frumpy! I'm loving that more and more in my closet are organized clothing that are my favorites, fit well, and I love and actually wear! Not things I'm holding onto just because, they were once good, might be again, paid a lot etc etc. Letting things go these days...just have the yearning to lighten up!

As for beauty...I'm getting to the bottom of a Philosophy Amazing Grace body butter. Will not be replacing now, as I still have two other body butters, Fresh Cream and Body Shop Ginger Souffle (will be perfect going into fall) to use up.

Used up a Loreal Voluminous Mascara a week ago, replaced with same.

Using up my stash of candles and candle warmers too, out on my deck (haven't been burning candles in my home anymore since painting a year and a half ago, because I had soot issues from them before..keeping environment inside cleaner.)

That's it for now, ladies~Happy weekend! (going to be culling more from the wardrobe before that appt. Plus I do have "winter" items also ready to go, but they are only taking fall right now.)

I used up: BBW Agave Papaya Sunset Lotion 8oz- not a favorite scent and not a repurchase. I have MANY BBW lotions to use up before I purchase more

Pacifica Rosemary Purify Shampoo 12oz- I just used this once or twice a week to help prevent build up on my hair. Not sure it did much, not a repurchase for now

Nature's Gate Sunless Tanner 4oz- I've had this for a couple of years now and just got thru it. It didn't seem to deposit much color this year, maybe because it wasn't quite as fresh. Otherwise I like it and would repurchase it next year unless I find something else I like better. I don't use self tanners much, only a bit on my legs to help camoflauge some of my spider veins

Tossed an LA Girl eyeliner in Metallic Copper- I liked the liner but I could barely see the color when I applied it. It was new, only used a couple of times, but so cheap it wasn't worth driving or mailing back to Ulta

Gave 3 bath bombs away to my sister. I never take baths and thought she might use them. If I do decide to take a bath my kiddos have some bath bombs that I can use
