What are you working on using up, or what do you have a bunch of?

Mine will be creams and perfumes. I finally look at my hands and say, that's not dry skin, that's old skin. It's all about acceptance. LOL, boy that hurt! LOL

I get "lax" in my attention to skin care...........and that's why I love the beauty shows..........NO, I don't buy everything on the screen, but it shakes me up enough to "get back at it" !!!!!

I too, just had this epiphany! painful tho it may be! I have several foundations and setting powders and just decided that I'm done looking for the next best thing- no matter what it is-because EVERYTHING looks the same after an hour or two of wear! It's not the products-its age! ugh. sigh. Especially eye shadows, cream shadows, etc. No matter the color i use, they eventually just look muddy. I use a very light hand, but have come to the conclusion that an all over wash of a brightening color works best. Yes, acceptance, and being willing to change up your routine is the order of the day. I still admire all the new lovelies coming out on the market but alas, admire is all I do. On a very good note-it is saving me some serious cash! lol

I have been using up eye shadows that I had from drug stores -- Almay, L'Oreal. Need to use them up before I use the Lancome and Urban Decay ones I have.

I so understand this. I have the same problem. I think mine is a combination of age and just naturally fairly small eyes. I would probably have better luck if I just kept my eyes shut, but that could pose other problems. :-)

Re: What are you working on using up, or what do you have a bunch of?

I'm working on using up a bottle of CoverGirl Advanced Radiance foundation...the color match is good, but it's just a bit too oily after awhile. I mix it with Laura Geller Spackle and that helps. After that, I have LG's Baked Elements liquid foundation (I think that's the name) to use, but it's a bit too heavy for summer, so I think I'll put it away til fall. I've fallen in love with Mary Kay's CC cream, and that's what I use when I really want to look extra nice. I top it with a light dusting of LG's Balance & Brighten (as I do with all liquid foundations)...perfection! Well, as close as my 61 y/o skin can get to it, anyway, lol!

My skinn santorini body wash. Although I like the scent, there are other body washes I like better that are more moisturizing. It isn't drying but just doesn't do much for my skin. I want to move on to my Whish coconut wash but decided I won't use it until I use of the SKINN body wash.

Just everything....... from make up to skin care to body care -----Finally used up my hair conditioners as it has always weighted down my hair. Was using it to shave my legs; except  since chemo 4 years ago, I have no more hair on my legs to shave!! One perk, I guess. Have lots of sample paks of things too, that I'm using up. Had alot of scents too, but most of them turned rancid so just dumped them.

I'm trying to use up as much of my skin care products as possible.  It's not easy though...I have too much, even after cleaning out my cabinets last year.  One good thing is I have held off buying new items so far.
