My two sisters and I would give our mom whatever fragrance we didn't want to keep, so she had quite a wardrobe of fragrance. The same applied to skin and hair products. She used to joke that she never had to buy anything herself.  ☺

She was from Germany and it's a classic scent there.

I know she had a mirrored tray on her dresser, that had a few fragrance bottles on it, but I don't recall her ever wearing them.  

I would squirt myself with some of her fragrances at times, and everyone in the family commented on that!

My mother never wore perfume. Even if she received it as a gift she just kept it on display on her dresser. I thought that was crazy and started wearing scent when I was a young teen. I started with Jean Naté. My mother-in-law wore only Shalimar by Guerlain. She received so much of it as gifts from business associates that she gave me some. It wasn't my favorite perfume, a little too sweet, but it got me hooked on French perfumes. When I went to the Guerlain headquarters in Paris, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven.

@beach-mom She would wear Windsong to work or SAND & SABLE.  For church she would wear Youth Dew and it always smelled lovely on her.  I wish that I could hug her now and nuzzle my head into her neck and smell it on her!  She has been dead for 5 years now and I hope she had a grand Christmas with all her brothers and sisters and my brother.

My Mom would douse herself all over in Jean Nate after her bath, she kept a quart sized bottle of it on her dresser.  then put on Claiborne fragrance, she loved it.

My mother in law was a Lauder Youth Dew gal.
