Re: Wen question.......

[ Edited ]

I've had a reaction to a certain scent of Tide laundry soap. Do I Want it pulled from the market?  Nope. I just won't buy it myself

My opinion, everything is not for everybody, otherwise there would only be one of everything, shampoo, foundation, deodorant, etc, there would be no need for variety. If a person believes WEN is causing them hair loss, quit using it immediately. I love WEN, have been using it for a couple of years, I had tried it before and I didn't like because I didn't use it the way Chaz says to. When I gave it another try I used it according to the directions, walla - I love the results. But I do also use AG's Sterling Silver once in awhile to keep my silver in check (so, I guess I don't use it completely as directions state). Prior to using WEN I would lose a lot of hair when I washed it, and it was thinning badly as I aged, now very few hairs fall out when I wash and my hair is now thicker.  I talked about WEN with my hairdresser, she said she has clients that use it and they say they get a buildup, to resolve it they use a clarifying shampoo once in a while.  I told her I agree and that since I use the AG shampoo I believe that gets rid of any buildup. Prior to WEN I washed my hair every other day, now only twice a week. The only one I don't like is "Fig" (not Manderin Fig) the original one, that one was too heavy for my hair. Chaz has said when putting the styling cream (pretty sure it was the styling cream) on your hair don't put it on your scalp, I have never heard him offer a "why", maybe he knows it does have some kind of effect which he isn't disclosing.  I think it would benefit him to suggest using something else every once in awhile but then again that would defeat his sales pitch for the product.

I feel the same ay also.

It has been wonderful for my hair..

It does take a little tweaking though.. I found it to be too thick for my fine short hair. So I gradually learned to use a lot of water, emulsify it and then gently massage it.. Rinse it, until I feel it is all out..

I suspect, other than it might be an allergic reaction for some. That they put it in thick, and didn't rinse it out, worked their hair too much.

Hair is much easier to damage when its wet.. And this is not a quick wash and go cleanser.. It takes commitment to cleanse your hair with wen.

I also use a other kind of cowash.. Every few weeks.. I'm big on clarifying hair.. I think its important to do that..

That said ..I will be glad when the FDA comes out with its findings.. Too many people love wen.. And having this keep coming up is stressful..I would prefer to just use this and not have to deal with any nagging "what if's".. And I am sure Chaz Dean would also love to just have his product cleared, and all the questions about it stopped.

Just use a quality shampoo and conditioner and you will see it's better than WEN. Anything is better. It made my hair so dry and greasy at the same time. I used another product and my hair has never been better. Just stop using it as your hair will probably start falling out like mine did
