croemer, I totally understand what you are saying. I had it happen to a new 4 oz bottle immediately after I opened it. Your right though the threads don't line up and you don't get the tight seal. Luckily I had an old dropper from an empty 4 oz bottle that fit it just fine.

But yes, everyone should keep their oils upright for sure!!

Hi KMBSAB! Well it is some relief to know I am not the only one...not sure why...LOL.

Could be Chynna, but I have always stored my bottle on a shelf...standing upright but my issue is not the disintegration of my dropper it is the threads not matching up from dropper to bottle.

Right, but that's a totally different issue from the one the OP posted about. It's not even the same bottle size or type.

Ah...correct but I jumped in because of the word defective packaging...see?

Re: Wen Oils- Defective Packaging

Two out of every three oil bottles I have have the same problem. We pay a lot of money we should have good bottles to use. I think the oils desolve the rubber

Well don't you buy most of your 'Wen' oils from ebay anyway?? Cannot really establish provenance from that source.

Re: Wen Oils- Defective Packaging

I have had MANY Wen oil bottles of various sizes and never had a problem with any of the lids. I have also never had a ""defective"" pump on any of my cleansing conditioners.

Reminds me of the people who aren't smart enough to figure out how to get the remaining CC out of the bottle when it gets low... seriously?
