Even though the scent is okay, the yellow makes it seem like old product.Tissyanne, That is interesting about the light. I don't keep mine out in a light area. I guess it could be a number of things. As long as it smells good I don't mind but I wish it would stay white

I didn't order the fresh cream TSV because I had ordered a hand soap/lotion several months ago. Strangest thing - smells really nice but when it hits my skin it smells like sour milk!
My sister and DD used it and it smelled great, like it does in the bottle, so it's not the product, it's me... go figure. I use lots of other philosophy products and am fine with them.

If one of the TSV products doesn't smell right to you, you should contact customer service, have them send you a new set at the TSV price (and easy pay), and return the bad set (you shouldn't be charged for return shipping).
I have the Fresh Cream TSV 3-piece set, and I just started using it. First of all, I originally ordered the Apricot, and I was sent the Raspberry instead. I called customer service and told them what happened. I was told to return the Raspberry; and because the Apricot was sold out, I asked that I be sent the Fresh Cream. I just received that set two days ago.
I really like the fragrance of my Fresh Cream shower cream and body lotion. I haven't tried the spray yet, and not quite sure how to use it.

Celery,
You are correct about me posting awhile back that the FC lotion in the tube ingredient deck did change slightly as well as the scent. I noticed this sometime last fall or thereabout. The "newer" version FC lotion smelled closer to the older body butter scent as you posted above.
I also noticed the 32oz FC lotion in the recent TSV is newer ingredient deck version as well. Smells great. As far as lotions turning yellow, my older version FC lotion in the tubes did turn a bit yellow but the newer version in the tube did not. Maybe part of the ingredient deck change that I noticed late last year addressed that issue?

I thought it might have been you, but wasn't completely sure. I think I was wrong about the yellow color - I thought I remembered the product of the last tube I purchased was initially yellow right out of the tube, but maybe it didn't turn yellow until it was starting to age. Or maybe I received a tube from an old batch. Don't know. I do remember my very first tube didn't turn yellow at all - even after I had had it awhile. I didn't notice any differences in scent, though, and the texture seemed to feel the same, too.
(edited to clarify that I meant I didn't notice any difference in scent in a "bad" way, and the product still smelled great.)

On 6/26/2014 jennys kid said:i read somewhere (maybe on this board?) that products with vanilla can turn in color. my fresh cream spray fragrance that i bough last summer is darker than it was originally but still smells the same. a friend of mine has the super-sized vanilla coconut duo and the lotion has turned a very light brownish tone but it still smells the same. so, maybe the kind of/concentration of vanilla has something to do with it?
Thanks for mentioning this. Last December I was at Nordstroms Rack and I picked up a few bottles of Philosophy shower gels. I have a cupboard that has nothing but unopened sealed bottles of shower gels. I noticed a week ago that my Whipped Vanilla Cream was turning an off white light brownish color. I was wondering what was going on with that but reading your comment has made me feel better.

Fresh cream has always smelled like sour milk / baby spit-up when I tried it so it's not just you! The only thing that smelled good on me was the original fresh cream body butter in the tube, that smelled just like my crispy marshmallow shower gel.
