I use this and love it too. It goes on great and is not splotchy.

Re: Watching Josie Maran Matchmaker Foundation segment...

I used to have issues with large pores and an oily t-zone. I've been using Perricone's pore treatment. Now I use a 2% BHA which has smoothed out my nose and forehead. I always use a mattifying product rather than relying on my foundation to handle my oil/pores.

As others said, the JM foundation goes on white and adjusts as you blend it out. It covers my "pinkness".......not quite redness.....lol. I choose to buff on a finishing powder with a kabuki brush for an airbrushed matte finish. Nice light effect - not a heavy finish.

I also have this and alternate using it with Perricone's no foundation foundation. It is not heavy coverage but I like that it just makes my skin glow and not look like a heavy foundation. They may be slowing the application to look streaky to show how it eventually blends to match everyone's skin. I apply mine with the brush and it quickly blends.

I have this foundation, and it is okay, but if you need to cover redness, this is probably not the best choice, as the coverage is light. I have a lot of redness (cheeks and nose) and my favorites are Bourjois Perfect 123 foundation and CC cream. They are from France (Bourjois makes Chanel) and are available on asos or life and looks on line. The price is good too.

Re: Watching Josie Maran Matchmaker Foundation segment...

These foundations are a total crock. They don't magically change or adjust to anything. The color is microencapsulated and the warmth of your skin and the action of spreading it on your face breaks the microcapsules, releasing the color. The color in there is the same on everyone. It's just sheer enough and universal enough of a tone that it seems to work on a lot of people.

Yet they sure act like it's magical makeup fairies with ph level detectors as fairy wands bottled in there.

I love this foundation. it is very light with minimum coverage. I am on auto delivery for Josie's kit A235009 ""A Look on the Bright Side"". Every item in this kit is a winner. I have shifted from Mally to more & more of Josie's products. More subtle and natural looking. Last all day.
