Watching Josie Maran Matchmaker Foundation segment...

...and the models' application of the product is NOT enticing me to buy. Their application looked almost universally splotchy and streaky. Does anyone have and use this product? Does it go on nicely or do you really have to work the product to even it out? I am thinking perhaps it is the brush applicator that is the problem--or maybe their technique (they're smiling and looking at the camera).

Anyway, thoughts about the product? I'm specifically looking for a foundation for light skin, mostly normal, but I need pore and red coverage for my Rudolpho nose. Smiley Happy Thanks.

In goes on nicely. I have no idea why the models seem to have such a difficult time blending it in but I did notice that on a few of the JM segments now. I love this foundation but it is very light coverage and not really sure it would be enough to cover redness unless it is was just very light redness.

The way its applied on air just makes it look like a white cast on their faces. I have it & love it but I apply it with a flat makeup brush then with the warmth of my hands blend it in & its fine. I don't want alot of coverage but a very natural look. Its not for everyone who needs coverage as its a very light coverage similar to a sheer tinted moisturizer. I doubt if it covers any redness except to camoflage it a bit.

I wish they would stop saying the foundation ""knows"" what to do. Lol.

I got a little bottle off eBay -- not exactly what I was looking for (which is perfection).

Went on kind of odd, then to my surprise looked pretty good, then kind of melted off toward the end of the day.

I'm not sure this would be enough to actually cover the redness, though.

I love this foundation but to me it is more of a tinted moisturizer. I like that it gives light coverage. I've seen it presented many times on air & thought it looks horrible! It is actually very pretty when applied right! I pump it out directly onto the brush & then ""paint"" it on one side of my face then another pump onto the other side. It blends very quickly.

I think it's the brush. Sometimes I just use my fingers and it makes your skin just look like skin but better. It is very light so I do usually use my BE ready or JM powder foundation over it.

I love this foundation and have been using it since I first tried it quite a few years ago. It goes on so nice and I don't have to fuss over it at all. I don't use the brush for application only fingers. I put a few dabs on my chin, cheeks, forehead and blend. I. Just ordered the 2 oz with the brush so I'll give it a try but my fingers work great.
