@JudyL   I love San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area.  Congratulations on your retirement! The Boudin Bakery at 4EC is great and I love the one at Macy's on O'Farrell street.  I'll google restaurants in Alameda at the old navy base and see if I can find it on my end, but if you or your friend remember the name of it, I'd love to know and I'll go there sometime.  I went to Alameda a few years ago- such a great city and I love their Alameda Point Antiques Faire that's the first Sunday of every month: I went to the faire and I bought a beautiful antique wooden hand carved turttle.
