In my opinion, when you have one group wielding absolute power over another group, there will inevitably be feelings of misunderstanding by the powerless group. I feel this is because there can be no explanation of actions which don't seem to make sense.

Posters often wonder - What did I do wrong?  But there is no way to find out.

Now that I think back I am not sure how I was notified. I could have been by email. It was quite some time ago and I don't remember..Uh Oh Old Timers setting in..LOL

I do know if you are banned when you try to log on it comes up that you are banned for so many minutes and the counter counts down. Now that could have changed too as it has been awhile since it happened to me.

I see all this push back pretty much like I see two year old throwing a temper tantrum when they can't get what they want. If they push enough, maybe the authority figure will change its mind.  I don't protest -  I have no idea what the legal issues are, what the business issues are, etc. and I don't want them.

I can't even listen to the evening news any longer -  if this becomes a political board, I'm gone.  It was ugly here before the mods when there were political posts.

I get where you are coming from but it seem that there are no hard and fast rules.  Some things are left and if another mod is on duty, the same thing might get poofed.  There just needs to be consistency.

I agree, there is no consistency as far as poofing goes and I and others I am sure could name the Mods that are the least consistant in poofing.

Exactly. And THIS is what I don't understand.  We cannot post an item number to an upcoming TSV sold on QVC but a poster consistently starts threads about upcoming shows on HSN complete with photos of just about every single item that will be sold and those threads always stay.  I can see them allowing the thread about the upcoming shows but all the photos?  I don't get it.

But I guess I don't have to get it.  It's just one of those things that makes you go hmmmm.

It's promoting if you post your own blog/channel or the YouTube channels, so if they post their own channel somewhere, they are profiting. I've posted many blogs and YouTube videos and they have not been removed.
