I use Lancôme brushes; clean them weekly with baby shampoo & warm water. 

I turn them on their side or hang upside down from the ceramic toothbrush holder in our bathroom (the blush brush o e fits nicely that hole).

I need to do that--use the brush cleaner that I got with that uselss cone shaped make up sponge---forgot what its called--but the cleaner is fantastic!!!
