Years to notice build up in your tub?  And 13 years to notice buildup in your ears? 😮

Re: WEN buildup on bathtub??

Nope never had a problem. I've been using Wen for 3 years now. I clean my shower stall regularly and rinse the bathtub round after baths with Wen and thow some vinegar and baking soda down the drain every so often.

So happy Wen gallons are coming in soon!!! My scalp is happy and my hair is shiny.

Hmmmm...... I notice there is lots of mentioning of competitive to WEN, QVC hair product - Nick Chavez, some call it CHEVEZ?? Whatever.

I take NC must be extremely popular brand among posters who're claiming to be using WEN for years and decades......

I think the type of water you have might make a difference too

Re: WEN buildup on bathtub??

@mom2four, I had a terrible buildup in my drains which caused my sewers to back up. This happened a few years ago and I never wanted to take that chance again. I am likeing Joico Cleansing Conditioners. They have several different types. I like the Moisturizing one. It comes out a like a foam and you don't need nearly the amount that Chaz recommends.

Wondering if anyone has dealt with this.

I have a buildup in my bathtub, and I'm thinking it may be from WEN.

I've been using it for a few years, and I'm really having a hard time getting it clean. Nothing seems to work. Somebody mentioned that peroxide might work, has anyone tried that??

Also, I'm thinking, should I stop using WEN??? I have dry, curly hair, and I have been pretty happy with WEN, but now I'm wondering.

Does anyone have any shampoo/conditioner suggestions for dry, curly hair?? TIASmiley Happy

Yes.  I hate to be gross but you will find a glob of shampoo with hair in your Drain.  I used Wen for 8 years because I bought into the notion that my hair color would last longer.  Well you know what was really happening?  My professional hair color wasn't taking to my Wen hair.  I could still see gray after my hair was colored.  I changed hairdressers because I thought she was to blame.  Nope!  I went to a new hairdresser and he told me that hairclor won't take while using Wen.  I thought he was full of it, but I stopped using it and guess what?  My hair color took and no more gray hair.  My hair is also in better shape than if ever has been.  I see less hair in my shower and my hair is thicker now.  I went back to Nick Chavez.  Thanks Nick!  And you know what else?  My scalp doesn't have that funky smell the day after I shampoo.  It's getting really clean now.

It's completely false that hair color does not take on people that use Wen.
