@DREAMON I pass by going to NY to visit relatives and friends. Would love to meet you, too.

My goodness! I don't see how you were standing after all of that! The bride certainly was more than lucky to have you!![]()
I would have been "chill" for the next few days, lol!

@ECBG I think it may be similar to your life in fashion. If you were backstage organizing or directing a fashion show, it's hectic, every detail has to be right and you feel somewhat responsible for how well it goes.
Same with a wedding...at least the bride. If she looks beautiful walking down the aisle, all is is good, ....Well, yes, I will chill out for days.Lol

Well, I guess from now on you will have serious consultations with brides in the future, so you learned something new that will benefit you.
How this gal ever took it upon herself to do a self-tanner application just before her wedding .... without even discussing it with you first .... yikes! Communication breakdown!
Glad it worked out okay.

@Tinkrbl44 I never thought tanning would be in their heads AFTER an appt. and also our trial appt. several days before the event. Yes, I'll have to remind them not to tan or change anything w/o a consult.

When I read your original post, my very first thought was how does a young woman get to a marriageable age without ever hearing about even one self-tanner disaster? Or think about running the idea by you for a recommendation, if nothing else.
Years ago, I read that you just cannot teach "common sense" but I do wish someone would try .... and teach it in Kindergarten! LOL

@Tinkrbl44 - I had to laugh at your comment above as I have thought that so many times. My father used to say "it shouldn't be called common sense! It should be called uncommon sense because not many people have it!" HAHA
