I'm sorry (not) but this is the dumbest tool I have ever seen.  You have to section every inch of your head, then fry your hair, and be sure to keep one hank of hair available to use to cover the fried hair.  And it comes in three sizes when it doesn't matter because you are only frying the scalp section of hair.  And there is no lift or volume.  And it's $100!  QVC, what the heck?

And Jane's hair looked terrible after she used it.

It's like backcombing or teasing  your hair.  That narrow brush was used to smooth teased hair.   It would be safer to tease or backcomb your hair than using this hot tool that would fry your hair and cause breakage practically at the root.

@Lisamartha  Don't knock it until you try it. I have one and I absolutley love and swear by it. I have long hair and it's always flat at the top from weight etc. This works to create volume like nothing else and hides my collick at the same time. You only hold it n place for 1-2 seconds and you won't see the crimp in the hair. It doesn't fry your hair either. I use it even if I'm just putting my hair into a ponytail. I was out with some of my husband's family on a boat and I noticed two of the ladies looking at my profile and I heard them say. "look at how cute her ponytail is and that cute way it poofs out. They never did ask me, but I would have told them it was the Voloom tool. Even told my old hairdresser about it and she asked to borrow it for a family photo as she had a flat top also. Teasing the hair is way more damaging and then you need hairspray etc. this is far far better.

Voloom comes in three different sizes. I've owned all three sizes for several years and wouldn't be w/o them. They are the best thing ever invented for my thinning hair.

I have been thinking about one forever. I go to their website and then talk myself out of it. I will take a look at the package they are offering.

@SilleeMee is 100% correct. I bought one after her post (a long time ago) and I love it! I bought another one on Q (price was good!) as a backup because I NEVER want to be without one. It doesn't fry your hair if you use it properly. It's a great, amazing tool! Makes a hugely positive impact on my fine, thin, bone-straight hair.
