@San Antonio Gal  Yeah I was watching this and he was doing it all wrong. First, you only hold it clamped for 1-2 seconds max. Second, you don't go up the hair where you can see the crimping, you stay at the roots then you never see it. I watched Jane holding it on her hair for 5-6 seconds and she was indeed scorching her hair, but she didn't know any better because the vendor host didn't know what he was doing either. It's a fabulous hair tool and you won't realize how much you will love it and rely on it until you actually have one.
