I have gotten rid of my moisturizer and use only Argan Oil. A small drop goes a long way, if I get more than a drop I rub in on my arms and legs. I do not use a primer. I us IT cosmetics and it doesn't slide off. Argan Oil has opened up a new world for my face.

On 10/3/2014 RunnerMom said: I don't think you can put oil in the same category as a primer. I do not use primers; my skin has issues with cones. But, I do use a few drops of Now brand argan or jojoba oil under my CC cream with spf 30. No problems with the makeup sliding off at all. Also, my skin is oily and the oil seems to balance it out.
Same here but I am having great success with 100% Pure Luminous Primer. No cones. No breakouts.

i use oil all of the time under my makeup. Skinn has some great oils just for that. Just press the oil in your skin, wait about 5 minutes and then use your primer.

Since I don't know your age, I'm not sure if this will help you. I am 57, and I had oily skin (more combo now) which has been great for keeping the lines and wrinkles to a minimum. I use 100% Extra Virgin Coconut Oil as my moisturizer for morning and night. It's the only moisturizer I need. I use Laura Geller's Neutralizer Spackle over the coconut oil before I apply her Balance-N-Brighten or Bronze-N-Brighten as foundation, I have never had a problem with this routine. I use both the oil and Spackle on my eye area also. I am often mistaken for being in my forties; be grateful for your oily skin {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}. Hope this helps.

While some can use coconut oil on their face with no ill effects whatsoever, it should be noted that it is rated as being highly comedogenic. Many prefer to limit its use to hair or body. Again, everyone is different, but this oil can (not necessarily will for everyone) cause clogged pores.
