Just had cataract surgery on both eyes so only need readers. Now the new problem: how to conceal some underage circles that were not visible with full-time glasses.

I am ho-hum about Dermablend now since the formula was changed many years ago.
The best match and formulation, IMO, is NARS ...the one that comes with a doe-foot wand.
I purchase Mary Kay Signature highlighting pen from the bay, knowing it has long-since expired.
Something in those”old” concealers covered so well and left skin looking natural. So DRAT!

Congratulations on having the surgery! I had it to and I’m so happy I did. I’ve tried a lot of products but I still really prefer IT cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye.
It’s pretty thick to work with but you only need a few small dots around the orbital bone and it really brightens that area detracting from bags and dark circles.

I like bareMinerals Bareskin complete coverage serum concealer, it's light weight and has good coverage.

although i don't have a recommendation for you, that is exactly why i chose to continue to wear glasses after my cataract surgery....doctor didn't correct my vision to the point where i didn't need glasses....just didn't like how my old eyes looked without glasses.....you are braver than i am......hope you find a concealer that works for you.....

I have suffered with Dark Circles for quite a few years, and I really like Clarins Instant Concealer. A little goes a long way and it lasts all day!I have been very happy with it....

Ever since I discovered it on this forum, I have been very pleased with Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer. It has the consistency of a highly pigmented liquid foundation, goes on and blends easily with no settling or tacky feeling. It looks like your natural skin. Many shades are available. I like to use the Neutralizer shade...it has color-correcting pigments that are perfect for most any under eye discoloration. This product is highly rated and is very reasonably priced at about $8.

I also recommend the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer and Bye Bye Undereye. Another option is the YSL Touche Eclat pen. It is sort of a brightener. I find that I do better with trying to brighten that area rather than cover it up, if that makes sense. Becca has a green-tinted neutralizer in a pot and I use that and then put a tiny bit of concealer on top it - so I use less concealer and it doesn't look cakey. I have a lot of crepiness under my eyes now and it is tough to use concealer. I just got a sample of First Aid Beauty's tinted moisturizer in Light and it has a little luminousity to it and that works nicely under the eye.

Nars in the little pot or for drug store concealers, I like Loreal's True Match in light/medium.
