I thought it might be interesting for people to post something the beauty industry tells us that we either truly believe or it's completely false....

I believe it's False that you can use collagen products and improve the collagen in your skin....

I believe that it is false to say a product can lift or tighten sagging skin.

I believe it is false that we all need to be concerned with improving  our aging skin and making it look younger.  It is OK to look your age.

I see it as false advertising when commercials or vendors say this or that will take off years. No topical product takes off years.

I think it's false that the celebs hawking certain skin care actually use it.  I don't know that I've ever heard them say they use it; just what it supposedly does.  Then people just assume that Jennifer Anniston uses whatever she is hawking, or the other celebs.

Mascara commercials that use false eyelashes or lash inserts. But if you don't read the fine print below, you will believe that brand of mascara can make you look like the model.
