When you do continuing 8 week treatments, do you experience the same "side effects" as you did during your first round? In other words, is it 8 weeks of "ewwww" and 4 weeks of "ahhhhh" -- then all over again? Thanks for your answer on this because it's been a BIG question on my tiny little mind. :-)

PS -- the fact that you're pleased enough by the results to continue is a great testimonial, IMO. How many cycles have you done?

If this was something I believed I would have to replace every year or so as you stated, I would never have purchased. I don't know what kind of "results" you are expecting, but if you are dealing with "wrinkles", you may be quite disappointed. I really don't think anything but medical intervention will give you real benefit in that, If you have fine lines, over a lengthy period you may see some fading. You may see a healthier tone to your skin, fading of some spots over time if you have them. My reason for using was/is upkeep of my overall skin tone. Which was my realistic expectation and result. Also, as far as saying I had a bronzed look to my skin initially, I never said my skin looked bad. If it did, if my skin looked bad in any way, if the device created any issue for me other than what was advised, I would have most definitely discontinued use, without question. There is no such thing as something working for or being right for everyone. As far as the next round, if you decide to keep your device, what one experiences may be totally different than others.

I think all of the new users of the unit are looking to learn what you and anyone who has had the unit for a longer time has experienced. Thank you for sharing that with us.

I also appear to have more of a bronzed look to my skin. I do though see some speckling of pigmented areas and think they may be "breaking up". May I ask if you experienced this and did it lighten over time?

Apparently I'm not being clear in what I'm trying to say. I've already come to the conclusion I need injections or other "drastic" measures for the deep wrinkles, I was just hoping for SOME improvement as an indicator of how the Tria is working for me.

And I misunderstood/misremembered your post -- what you actually said was:,

And as you mentioned, nothing is right or works for everyone, and that underscores that we all respond differently. So because you're a seasoned veteran :-), your results may not be what we can expect. Maybe that's why I don't seem to be able to commuicate to you what I'm trying to express -- we're just filtering through our own individual observations and experiences.

MarrenSeattle - I am completely, totally appalled at how you have addressed me in your above post. I posted on a couple of threads regarding this device as I was one of the first official "guinea pigs" in 2012 to use this device. So yes, maybe I know just a little bit more than you do because of all that I was a part of. Because of such, based on some of what I had read, I was looking only to hopefully help someone from possibly hurting themselves, possibly very badly. I didn't come here to be ridiculed nor picked apart because of the limited personal experience I did share. Anything I have conveyed has been MY experience, MY feelings. For ME. Not YOU. No where, no place did I tell you what to do, what not to buy or spend your money on. Your defensiveness is completely uncalled for. I would have gladly liased with anyone here, to share more, my ongoing experience(s) during the 18 months I have been using the laser. However, your argumentative attitude, sarcastic remark(s) toward me makes me glad I did not answer questions, provide any more personal experience/information than I did..I certainly have no desire to be treated with any more disrespect than I just have. And for the record, yet again, you are deceptive saying that I claimed "my skin looked pretty bad". I also only told you the truth as I knew it regarding "wrinkles", as you asked and I was being honest. Anything I conveyed in what you have quoted above was MY experience during the testing, my usage Someone else may and has had even worse experience(s) second time. Others, not. I was reading on the Tria website that it is indicated for the treatment of lines and wrinkles. I guess about 76% of users saw a reduction in them. Honestly I bought the Tria to see if it would reduce the fine lines around my eyes. I don't need help with 'clarity' or tone really. From what they claim I would expect (hope) for that result with the one treatment round.

Survivedone, another thanks for sharing your experience. All of us Tria users are just excited to share our experiences with each other and hopefully help each other along the way. Everyone will have a different experience using the device, and different outcome depending on the expectations of each of us.

Maren, although I hope my Tria lasts longer than a year, if I see results I will be happy too even if it konks out right after the year warranty is up. Skincare items can be so expensive!

I will be honest, there were times that I wanted to ask you more questions and as we all appreciate your help, I felt you were condescending, especially to me. I asked you something and your reply back the second time made me feel stupid. Went back to the post you are referring to. My reply to you that you are referring to from me was "Obviously I am not explaining myself well. Hopefully you will get the results you are looking for". There is/was no hidden meaning except for what I said. Unfortunately, I did not, do not have the time to spend here much, however, I provided a lengthy explanation to you best I knew how at the time. As well, a family member had passed and I had to leave and help make arrangements on that day, so I apologized for not explaining myself well as I had to go. Someone who doesn't want to see you hurt yourself, burn your skin is hardly looking to make anyone feel "stupid".
