Re: Thoughts on Perricone?

[ Edited ]

I've never been tempted to try his line. I've read that something he sells has a bad fishy smell. I don't remember which product it is but that's a turn-off. I've also looked him up.  He has some scarring from an accident or something, so that's not what I'm talking about, but he has forehead wrinkles plus significant crows feet and under eye wrinkles,

ETA to clarify - the pictures of him were from many years ago.  Nothing current.

Until I can see $145., worth of difference in the "befores" and "afters", I'll keep my money in my pocket.

The one thing I tried a few years ago was the cold plasma and yes, it had a fishy smell.  That ended that experiment.

It's got free shipping. If I was interested I would try it.

The problem for me is if I like it then I couldn't afford to keep buying it. It's expensive even when the stuff is on sale.

I like his products. I use some and when I use them up I try another brand, but usually come back to Perricone. Nothing is a miracle worker but I feel my skin looks better with Perricone.

Dr. Perricone is 74 years old, so of course, he has wrinkles.  I remember before his skin care line, many years ago, watching him on PBS.  I liked what he had to say, which was mostly about living and eating healthy and you will see your skin improve.

Anyway, I tried several of his products, received small sample jars from Sephora a long time ago.  Loved them.  Nothing smelled bad or fishy.  Agreeing with @Kachina624, unless this stuff can significantly turn back the clock decades,  I will not spend that kind of money.

@beautydiva

I've used it for years, loved it for years, and don't expect to stop for eons!

I bought 2 TSV's on Auto. I already use both, but the Conformer is a fast buy for me!

I use other items as well and have never been disappointed, nor have been the giftee's I've bought items for as well.

It's always on wish list for birthdays and holidays.

Go for it, try it for 30 days, and many brands have a longer return period as well. 5 easy pays, free ship...

I will say, give up your current skincare for that time, many people don't with new products and say their skin is red, they have a rash, what have you...give it an honest time period. Nothing works immediately and gets better over time unless it's used over time.

Everyone's skin is different, don't go by mine or anyone else's review. Everything is different on everyone. Try it for yourself. Take a before and after 30 days.

good luck!

No thanks. I don't buy the hype of any expensive skincare lines.  The before/ after shots are just silly, no changes- I never see anything from skincare.  The sales pitch for this line is all empty promises, no real science. I save and get Botox. Love that.

It is a pricey line. I do think it is a nice brand. Whenever I watch these shows regardless of price. It cosmetics does it too, and sorry I am not impressed with that company lol. Stuff is never worth the retail value. I do think QVC TSVs are priced well. As for this Perricone deal, so it's $75 a product, you get 2.5oz instead of 1.7 oz(standard size)of moisturizer. And 2oz of serum, which is double the size of 95% of serums on the market which are 1oz. So the value seems to be there. I might give it a try because with QVC you can always return it.
Thanks everyone for feedback!!
