I've always been a powdered blush user, but I'm thinking about trying a liquid or cream.
Question: Do you apply it and leave it alone or do you set it with something?

I treat it the same way I do powdered product. I pat some setting spray on with a beauty blender when I'm done with my make up.

I thnk you could do either. Usually, I do the same thing I do with powder blush.
My only experience with a liquid was a Becca liquid blush that was VERY intense. I would squeeze out the tiniest drop and rub between my fingers for several seconds before patting it onto my face. I sometimes would wear that just on my bare face and I didn't use a setting powder with it.

@JeanLouiseFinch JMO; however, I would stick with powder blush because I believe it gives a softer, more natural look.

I disagree. I much prefer a cream bronzer and blush. If yours doesn't look natural, it's either the wrong color or not blended properly.

I have found that lipstick makes a wonderful cream blush. I went through a phase were I tried several different brands/formulas of cream blush, but none of them performed any better than lipstick. I also like that I can perfectly cordinate my lips and cheeks.
Most of the time however, I prefer powder blush. Sometimes, I will pat the tiniest dab of lipstick on top of the powdered blush. It looks natural and gives the blush an extra dimension.

I normally don't set it with powder but sometimes I will set cream with the same color powder blush. I kind of did that today. I'm wearing Nars cream bronzer as blush and I topped it with Em cosmetics in a shimmery light Goldish light tan. Sorry I can't do pictures, I'm on the road.

For the life of me I can never remember to do that, the setting spray on the beauty blender technique

@JeanLouiseFinch - When I use a cream blush/bronzer, I normally don't set it with powder. What I do though is spray a beauty sponge with setting spray and then tap it onto my face.

@JeanLouiseFinch I always use cream and never set it.
