When using it at night as an overnight scalp treatment, how do you keep it from getting on your pillow? :-)

I wear a Turbie Towel to bed.

I fold a fluffy towel in half and lay it on my pillow. After "tucking" the towel around the pillow, I lay my head down. This works for me because I sleep on my back and don't really move around a lot throughout the night.

If you put the oil on about an hour before you go to bed, it's soaked in and won't get on your pillow.

This! I have never got any on my pillow. I put it on at least an hour before bed, sometimes early in the day if I don't have plans to go anywhere.

Same here! I've never had an oily residue on my pillow or on the sheets or blankets (I'm a burrower, lol).

Also, I use MyPillow so it's easy to wash I don't worry if something does get on it!

Whales, when I use the oils, my hair and scalp aren't greasy.

I use a dropper per quadrant on my scalp. I massage it in and the excess I rub through my hair.

I'll just add to my earlier post by agreeing with the ladies who say that they don't worry about oily residue on their pillows. The only reason I do the towel thing is because I use the TT oil (which is extremely strong), and it would turn my stomach if that smell ever "infiltrated" my pillow. lol
