Re: Those Foundation Tooth brushes

Angie/hotandflashy has a video review of the Artis brushes. Soft Surroundings has a couple of similar brushes that aren't quite as expensive.

Has anyone tried these with powder foundation?

Re: Those Foundation Tooth brushes

I like a good, dense flat top brush (IT cosmetics has a very good one) for applying my Laura Geller Balance & Brighten. For liquid or cream foundations, I actually prefer my fingers---easy to clean, too! Woman LOL

I bought one from Amazon for under $5.00

Yes, I'm interested in knowing what they're like with powder foundations too.

Re: Those Foundation Tooth brushes

I have an Artis oval 7 and it works equally well with powder and liquid foundations.  Best brush I've ever owned. I've used it with the Tarte loose powder foundation and most recently with the Urban Decay powder foundation.  It applies the powder foundtion much more evenly than other brushes I've tried.  I previously used a Cailyn o Wow brush and it's decent but not nearly as  smooth an application as the Artis.

Re: Those Foundation Tooth brushes

Neiman Marcus's  Fluenta version has a sleeker, sturdier handle but the HSN version, the one once sold on QVC and Amazon, is probably more ergonomically designed.  Artis brushes are superior tools.  If you watch the HSN presentation I'm sure you'll understand why these pricey brushes are award winning and always sold out.  Yes there are copies but there are so many copy cat models now it's confusing  and some of them are only poor imitations.  This is one case where you get what you pay for.

The original copy was WoW.  compared to the prices the sharks are selling knock offs at now even that one was expensive and, frankly, the money I spent buying something not quite so extravagant (i thought) was actually wasted money and time.     After several disappointing purchases, I finally wound up buying almost the whole Artis set from NM during sales promotions.  Not one penny was " ill spent" ! The offer from the Q was one of the best because of the versatility of the brushes selected and the inclusion of the cleanser and cleansing pad.

Re: Those Foundation Tooth brushes

Wow! Saw the demonstration on HSN last night, these brushes look amazing. I just wish he would have demonstrated on a actual model, instead of paper....Plus they needed to have let him have more time, he was last in the show and I think he was rushed! I probably wouldn't buy that whole set, but I would like to start off with the oval #7.....
