For the ladies who have blackheads and large pores I recommend tea tree oil. This stuff is amazing (stinks a bit though but just for a minute). My nose pores are almost totally gone and I don't have a blemish or red spot anywhere. I have a spot on my stomach that the cat scratched and I was getting worried because it was really red. I put tea tree on it twice today and it is not as puffy. It is pink but not red anymore. Even a milia I've had under my lip for years that comes and goes is finally really going away.

Do you mix the tea tree oil with a carrier oil? You should not apply essential oils directly on skin; however, I spilled peppermint oil and it got on my fingers. I was buzzing around for about an hour with energy. ha! Essential oils do work.
I burn tea tree oil with orange oil or tangerine oil (use a little more orange) 40/60. The tea tree oil cleans the air especially if you are sick but I love the two oils together. House smells great.

Oohhhhh!!! I did not know this, lol, but I could use a buzz. Would Rose Hip apply? I use that one with the tea tree. I've got good skin and no buzz, lol. Darn.

I think this website is sick. Rose hip is a little heavy, carrier oils like almond oil, borage seed oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, sesame oil just to name a few. If the rose hip oil is what you like go ahead and use it. If the oil did not bother you directly on the skin then I would not worry about it but you can always do a Google for more info on it. Peppermint oil is a stimulate. Tea tree has antiseptic properties.

It has properties that actually kill the acne bacteria strain. I still need to use enzyme and deep exfoliation to keep my stubborn, enlarged (inherited) pores clean. I add it to my own homemade facial sprays. I also use it straight for reducing skin tags. Works wonderfully for those and inbedded milia. It does smell quite a bit, but dissipates after awhile. Also great for dandruff if added to your shampoo or conditioner. I'm happy for all that have discovered its' uses. :-)
I love this oil. I don't have acne but I do get milia and red spots. I spent months fighting red spots and after using the tea tree religiously they have not reappeared. I use a home made face spray also. I mix tea tree, rose hip and argon with distilled water. I spray some on my skin before I apply any other products. I had asked about a milia under my lip that has been coming and going for years. I finally figure I am getting rid of that thing once and for all. I would dot some lactic/glycolic peel on it and after washing it off I applied the tea tree oil. It is gone now but I still apply tea tree twice a day. Yesterday I found tea tree blemish patches from Korea that I ordered. I dare any zit to try appearing, lol.

Of course, I woke up with a zit under bottom lip this morning
I'm not prone to getting a lot of zits. It's probably stress. My boys went back to school today. One is starting Middle School and the other High School. Of course, I'm worried about them both. LOL. Is it me or did summer fly by? Anyway, I can't wait to put some tea tree on it:-)

I have a bottle in each bathroom & an extra on hand. I won't be without it. I use it for all kinds of cuts & scrapes. I have been using it straight for years with no problems. If you have sensitive skin you can dilute it with coconut oil or other carrier oil.
