Tatcha Rice Enzyme Exfoliator Alternative

I tried the Tatcha Rice exfoliator and liked it, but after a week or so it really irritated my skin, causing redness and flaky patches. I know it had talc in it, but do not know if the talc was the issue, as many enzyme exfoliants give me the same problem.

I was looking for something similar that might not cause the irritation and came across the NUDE Skincare Detox Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash at another store. I've been using it with good results and no irritation for two weeks now and am very happy with it. It also costs ~$20 less, at $42 for 2 oz, compared to $65 for 2.1 oz.

I thought they were discontinuing the Josie Maran powder, but I see they've just repackaged that, so I'll try that one after this and see which I prefer. The JM powder is $35.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'll keep it in mind. I'm finishing up some Fleur de Lis Rice & Papaya Enzyme Powder and going to try Eminence Strawberry Dermafoliant. The aesthetician I used to go to used all Eminence products and I recently recalled liking this when she used it on me.

I think Sephora has something similar, as well, but I haven't looked at the ingredients closely. JLF, I like the Fleur de Lis, but please let me know how you like the Eminence. I have about 1/4 of a bottle left, but only use it 1-2 x/week this time of year. Chynna, that JM gets great reviews, but I have a hard time spending that much, plus shipping. Smiley Wink Tatcha I liked, but I prefer the granules to last a little longer on the skin, instead of dissolving so quickly. Have a nice evening!

Will do. I'll be ordering it pretty soon. Just an FYI, you can get little sample jars of it on eBay, if you want to try it before ordering a full size bottle.

Bare Minerals has an enzyme powder for a cleanser. It

is very nice and no talc or irritation.

They're a super company. I love their Tropical Vanilla sun cream. Yummy!

JLF and those interested in Eminence, it's available @ Pharmaca, which is having a 20% off statewide sale, code on website, and I received an e-mail code for 25%, which would bring it down to $36 and free shipping.

I don't know if the 25% off code is e-mail subscription specific, but if anyone wants it, I'll post it in a seperate post, just let me know.

Amore Pacific has a Treatment Enzyme Peel that's in powder form. Turn the bottle upside down and a pre-measured amount is dispensed. Add a little water and it foams up into a wonderful enzyme cleanser. No talc in the ingredients. $60 for 2.5 ounces.

Mage, thought you might like to know this product is $34 with free ship on Amazon prime. Not sure if you have prime, but I'm obsessed with it! HTH!
