Re: THANKS QVC for ruining PROJECT RUNWAY

Shawn and Isaac talked to the guy on the phone on Monday's show.

Underneath his name on the screen it had.....Winner of Project Runway All Stars. Sounds as if that was a dead giveaway. Did anyone else see that?

I don't watch the show so I don't know what day the show airs or when he was announced as the winner.

I was laying in bed reading and didn't pay much attention to the graphic beneath Seth Aaron's name when he spoke to Isaac and Shawn. I just assumed it was in reference to his Season 7 original Project Runway victory.

As for spoilers it's always been at your risk for VCR and now DVR and stream viewers that they will hear what happened on program they plan to watch later before they get around to it. The show has an air date and time after that no one is required to maintain secrecy for the benefit of anyone. It's rather a self important attitude for one to have IMO.

Re: THANKS QVC for ruining PROJECT RUNWAY

MathisFan, My text notification is Sherlock saying "It's a text, I've got a text' from Scandal in Belgravia! :-)

I have the DVDs of the first two seasons and have watched with the subtitles on because it's so easy to miss what they say with their rapid-fire quips and accents. I also learned that some things get lost in the translation -- for example, when they are sitting in Buckingham Palace (again, Scandal in Belgravia) and John asks Sherlock "are you wearing pants?" In England, "pants" means underwear. :-)

The pre-Sherlock show is available for viewing on the PBS site if you want to watch it early.

With social media today there is now way to avoid spoilers.

I didn't even need to watch Downton Abbey last week. I knew everything that happened long before it aired here in the US.

Haha! And I already know how Sherlock faked his death!

Don't tell!! Don't tell!! I have an idea about how he did it but have been avoiding all things Sherlock so I do not find out. I'm afraid I am going to turn on the computer and see a spoiler. Can't wait for the next show!

Yes. Please don't say anything. I can't read my London newspaper because I don't want it to spoil it for me. Sherlock is on Jan. 19th at 10:00 following Downton Abbey.

I always stay away from news and spoilers. What I didn't expect was a spoiler in my morning QVC email. Call me self-important.

Life in the fast lane. You have a computer, you have email and you have a DVR. Nothing is perfect.

Scandal in Belgravia is one of my favorite episodes. Looking forward to Sunday's episode.

LOL I was thinking the same thing.... what is the acceptable time frame for discussing shows so everyone has watched it? Good lord!!

I've learned to be very careful with this kind of thing. If I DVR something and I don't want it to be spoiled, I avoid reading everything - social media, emails that might mention it, everything. Even then sometimes I've had surprises ruined.

I think we have to know that holding onto something to watch later is definitely a "do at your own risk" thing. It's completely to be expected that talk about it is going to be all over the internet and elsewhere once the show airs. Kiss

I kept wondering where all that stuff on the QVC wall came from. I sure don't see stylish items like those anymore on their shows.

Are you kidding are that that stupid??? That is insanely stupid and thoughtless on QVC's part, but you know, it is all about Lisa here.
