Been using Tarte's brow mousse in gray for a while and I like it.  However, used it yesterday during our heat wave and it was gone, completely, no brows before I even left the house.  Its supposed to be waterproof but obviously not sweatproof.  I live near the coast so don't have air conditioning so it was pretty warm in my house but not as hot as some places.  Took out an older IT Cosmetics brow pencil and it worked fine and stayed on fine.

Will continue to use the Tarte mousse as I like the color and its matches my hair color the best.  The IT pencil I have is in gray but they don't offer it anymore.  I'll just have to remember on hot days don't use the Tarte mousse.

Re: TARTE Brow Mousse Review

I wonder if it would be more water resistant if you set it with a powder that matches it.  I use an eyeshadow on top of other brow products at times.  You just have to make sure the eyeshadow is the right color, so it doesn't look weird.  Of course, you can buy a brow powder, but if you have an eyeshadow at home that is the right color, there is no need.

@JudyL   If you purchased it recently, maybe you can return it. If not, I agree w/ @mistriTsquirrel . Set the mousse with a powder. Sometimes if the brow product "melts", it takes the pencil or powder with it.

Re: TARTE Brow Mousse Review

Thanks @mistriTsquirrel and @Shanus for your responses.  I really like the mousse when its not hot! Luckily, I live somewhere where hot spells are few and the rest of the time the mousse is fine.  I will remember the powder suggestion though and will see what I have on hand that will work.
