A very light tan. Nice product---easy to use.

I have used these for years..and I am also very fair.
What I do for the best results is--I shave legs, shower, then after I am dry I apply the TT in smooth quick circular swipes.
To prevent any drying effect--I then apply TT's On the Glow gradual tanning lotion (or Jergens or Joan Rivers similar product) which not only keeps my skin moisturized, but helps w building up a gradual tan!
I use the Deeper/Darker TT once week and apply On the Glow once/twice during week to extend tan and moisturize.
Good luck--I think you will be pleased.
One more Tip--do your ankle/knee areas LAST--when most of product is already distributed ...to prevent un-even/darker look.

I used to use these all the time, but decided a couple of years ago to go naked skin. I just wear capris and go for it.

Have not used them in a while, and never had the newer larger ones. but, for my first application of the season, I would use 2, then 2 more a few hours later, than one more few hours after that, so 5 in one day to get some color started. Then 2 at a time every 3 or 4 days after.

Like another poster, I also shave and shower before applying. I try to remember to exfoliate before shaving, though it doesn't always happen! After toweling off, I put a very light layer of regular lotion on my elbows, knees, ankles, and feet so that the product doesn't distribute too heavily on those spots. Then I apply on my arms, chest, and finally legs and feet. I do the backs of my hands last.
I don't get as dark with these as I do with the BE Faux Tan, but I have an easier time applying the TT evenly. I still use the BE Faux Tan on my face, though, as I prefer the darker color in summer.
My only major complaint about any self-tanners is really more of an issue on my end. I swim a lot in the summer and I really have to shave my legs every day so, unfortunately, the chlorine and shaving wear away the tan faster. I try to apply some sort of gradual self-tanner (like Jergens) to help the tan last a little longer.
Hope you like them!
