Re: Super Oily Skin Help! New foundation..

I have oily skin to and I have tired Skinn. For the price, the items are all fine for others.... The Plasma Flawless Finish works well, but it made me break out. I also had their makeup which did the same thing.....I use Laura Geller Balance and Brighten with no problems. I have Josie Maran Argan Oil Light. I use it mostly for dry flakey patches I get trying to get rid of the oil! I actually find that Pro Active Toner works pretty well for oily skin, as does Andalou products--their toner I get at Whole Foods. I think Clinque has oily skin foundation. No matter what I use, I still brush over it with the Laura Geller BB.

100% Pure. They have foundation, powder, tinted moisturizer, mascara, eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, etc. They also have skin and hair care; all vegan and 100% natural.

Don't make someone a priority when all you are to them is an option.

I use Bare Minerals original foundation and their primer that reduces redness along with Smashbox's mattifying primer and that combination keeps me shine free throughout most of the day. I've tried Bare Minerals matte foundation and didn't like the way it looked on my skin.

Re: Super Oily Skin Help! New foundation..

Hi. I can't help you with foundation but I may be able to help you address your oily skin. I used to have really oily skin. So bad I had to sop up oil throughout the day with paper napkins. This has gone on for years. Over the last few months my skin has become normal! Which I can't believe because I live in humidity and in the past summer has always been bad. Over the last few months I have stopped manually exfoliating my skin and started using Paula's Choice BHA and AHA. BHA will address the clogged pores. AHA is for the surface of the skin. Paula's Choice may not be natural but they are cruelty free. I've been using many of her products but I suspect these are the reason my skin has normalized and my skin has become super soft. You can call Paula's Choice and actually talk to a skin care specialist. Maybe they can explain how this works or what products might work for you.

Cardamom, can you tell me specifically what Paula's Choice skincare products you use?

I've been the 2% BHA liquid in the AM. Followed by the skin Resist Pure Radiance Skin brightening serum with 2 drops of Vitamin C Booster. I just ran out of this serum and I am now mixing my C booster with the Resist toner (new, cannot attribute it to any changes in my skin), then I put on her slightly tinted moisturizing sunscreen. In the PM I use the Resist 5% AHA, followed by the Resist Super Antioxidant Serum with 2 drops of the C Booster. This serum is very moisturizing so I don't use it in the day. Then I use Resist Barrier repair with retinol over the serum. Once a week I use her 10% AHA weekly resurfacing treatment. I've also been using the Resist triple action spot eraser 7% AHA lotion on some sun spots for about a month now with no improvement. But I have a huge tube so I'll keep up with this. Maybe it takes a while. HTH. Smiley Happy
