@SilleeMee That's an excellent storage cabinet. Sometimes people forget about IKEA. I live near an IKEA which is about 1 mile away.

DH would have a cat if I bought one of those plastic rolling carts. My problem is all the skin care, not just the cosmetics. My stash has pretty much taken over the linen closet, meaning towels are stacked out in the open and sheets are stuffed willy-nilly into closets. Its OK for the towels, everyone knows where to find them, but I must do something about the sheets. Maybe get rid of some of the clothing and use that space for sheets.

If you google Ikea makeup storage, there's some really neat ideas about how you can use those Alex drawers and some very nice decorating ideas, too.![]()

This is exactly what I use for makeup and hair accessories, works like a charm!

@Sue98 You're not going to like part of what I have to say, LOL, but I'll be honest and tell you how I solved my problem.
I threw away excess when we moved to a new house, and using items from Container Store customized drawers in my bathroom to fit what makeup I need and use daily.
I really bit the bullet and I have more money, more space, less clutter, and fewer things to sort through so my routine is easier and I don't spend so much time getting dressed.
If I have an excess one of anything I store it in the closet with the towels. Like I may have a few products that are waiting to be used when I run out like foundation and mascara.
Good luck! I feel liberated, but you may not be at the place where I was when I started. Have fun whatever you do.

@SilleeMee, I don't even have that much make-up. Mine fits in a roll-up faux leather case that has 4 zip pouches on it. But I really want that Ikea piece. LOL

I like that unit! I may just have to buy it! Thanks for the idea. I have been looking for something like that for a while and never found it. I don't like the plastic ones, I want one that looks like actual furniture.
