Bobbi Brown "Smoke" fits the bill, it is a cream stick format, medium grey. Very flattering color, long lasting and easy. I prefer creams, I think they are more forgiving on aging eyelids, when applied correctly. I also love the "taupe" shade if you want something tanish.

Check out L'Oreal, Cover Girl and Revlon in their long lasting high pigment lines. Off hand I forget what each calls their line but maybe someone here can jump in and help.
I think a lot are getting into this now because we like our makeup to last and look like we just put it in even after a long day or night.

How dumb of me but when Andreatoo mentioned Ulta I had totally forgotten how many of these I have and really like. I get the chubby crayon type eye liners and use them as both shadow and eye lining. I love the green, brown, grey and purple.
give a try when on sale buy one get one or buy 2 get 2 etc, usually have sales on their line.

I use LG's shadow base and only powder shadows. Love the ability to blend, control the intensity and for me, they last all day. I use various brands since I'm always looking for the right color, minus the sparkle.

I'm fond of using powders, but I really prefer to use cremes. They apply so beautiful with a brush and blend like a charm. I am not a fan of stick eyeshadows. They tend to drag and I find their blendabilty nearly inpossible. So many that I have tried also have a very sticky or waxy feel.

If you like the colors try the Korres sticks. No drag whatsoever and very blendable
