@Harpa

Thank you for sharing your toner recipe.  I made it and am enjoying it, on to my second batch - will never use ‘store bought’ again!

I added a only bit of niacinamide to the tea mix.

Thanks again!

@Shanus

I remember you saying that Smiley Happy  I haven't used candles for so long since discovering Scensty, but, a lavender candle in the bathroom at night would make for a lovely bath and winding down time Smiley Happy  Just need to find a soy one.  I bought a lovely white glass swan at Cracker Barrel a few weeks ago.  I have it setting on my tub deck.  It has holes all over it and a light inside.  I dim the chandy over the tub and the recessed lights at night for my bath.  It's fun to spoil ourselves isn't it Smiley Happy  Sometimes I'll have music and sometimes I'll watch the news.  Last night for the first time in a year, the leading news story wasn't COVID!

Re: So how do you decide??

@CherryHugs   I started using Mario Badescu last March 2020.  He offers something for everyone -- sensitive, dryness, oily, normal at a reasonable price.  I refuse to break the bank on skincare but i do want a quality product at a good price.  My skin has been hydrated on an ongoing basis and I have gotten in the habit of cleansing, toning and then moisturizing.

I keep it simple:

For the face:

Cleanser

Moisturizer

Sunscreen

A Retiol Product

For the Body:

Gel Cleanser

Moisturizer

Go fragrance free. Fragrance can be very irritating to the skin.

Cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen - for the face

Add on a retinol if you want too, but it isn't necessary. Suncreen is your best friend in fighting the signs of aging.
