I don't get it.
If I sleep ON MY FACE, why would I use a "Sleeping mask"?
Everything's gonna WIPE OFF on the pillow within an hour.

My Grandfather always wore a sleeping mask. He slept on his back. My cousin and I used to laugh at him when we spent the night with the Grandparents.

@RinaRina Are you referring to a skincare mask or the satin type that keeps the light out?

@RinaRina If you sleep on your face, don't you have trouble breathing?

I am a horrible sleeper as it is, but no way could I tolerate something on my face rendering me blind. No way. I would freak out.

Love sleep masks and always use one. As long as I have my mask on I can sleep anywhere and a plus is that even though I'm in my late 70s, almost no wrinkling around my eyes ( maybe because they relax more in complete darkness?).

When I worked 2nd and 3rd shifts I slept with a mask to keep the morning light out of my eyes from waking me up.
What is a dumb idea to you is not so dumb to others.

Are you talking about a beauty mask or an eye mask? If you're talking about a beauty mask and are concerned with your skin & would suggest trying not to sleep on your face if you can. Sleeping on your face just creates more wrinkles.

Since you say "everything's gonna wipe off" I guess you mean skincare mask not eye coverage @RinaRina . Yes I believe it would be dumb for YOU but not for those of us who don't sleep "on our faces." Seriously, not everything is for everyone.
