My 32 year old daughter wants a skin care line for Christmas. I would say she has normal skin, not oily or too dry. Something with a cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and eye cream. Also something not expensive so she wont go broke when it's time to replace. It doesn't have to be from qvc. I've been searching and need suggestions if anyone has ideas!

I use Sunday Riley skin care and it's a bit expensive but Clinique has a great skin care line, I have used it in the past with great results and it's not very expensive. QVC has Clinique skin care kits and I've also seen them on Macy's website. Hope you find something she will be happy with

@Whispergirl I'm 35 and I have affordable skincare moisturizers, eye creams and cleansers for your 32 year old daughter to try. I don't use a skin care line from one brand- so I can't help on that front, but I really like these products and they're affordable and suitable for all skin types
:

My morning moisturizer is Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Moisturizing Face Serum SPF 60- it wears beautifully on its own or under makeup and it offers great sun protection without leaving a white caste to the face.

Here's another favorite sunscreen that I use- La Roche Posay Toleraine Double Repair Face Moisturizer SPF 30. This is a lgihtweight and moisturizing spf with great protection!

Cetaphil hydrating cleanser is great- affordable and keeps the skin clean without stripping its natural moisture.
I really like the IT Cosmetics confidence eye cream- its sold as a duo on QVC item A474341 for $43.98. I use this eye cream every night and it moisturizes, firms and lifts and doesn't irritate my eyes.
The Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder is available at Ulta and is $16- its a gentle brightening exfoliating powder and I like how its dispensed into the hands in powder form and then mixed with a few drops of water to form a creamy exfoliatiing foam. I use this once every week and it leaves my skin nice and soft!

I've been pleased with CeraVe products. I use their Moisturizers ( AM and PM), Vitamin C. I use Purity for years.

@Whispergirl Each woman's skin is so very different. What one person can tolerate may have something that irritates another. There is oily, normal or dry and everythng in between.
I suggest a gift certificate and let her go for a consult at a dept. store where they can type her skin.

Absolutely correct in stating that every skin is different. On QVC..they are always pushing purity as a facial cleanser..however it irritates my face and burns my eyes and my daughters don't like it either. And I like Lancome products and I know a lot of people don't like that line. My daughter likes the line Ordinary. My other daughter likes some skin care lines that are Korean. (not sure which). So everyone is different
She might have to try a few to see which one her skin likes best.

I think the Naturium line is very good. It's affordable and has many options to try. They have cleansers, serums, moisturizers, eye creams, etc. You can check out their website or Amazon has a good selection of their products also.
I have used their Retinol serum, Niacinamide, and cleansing balm and been very happy. Recently ordered their Peptide serum and peptide eye cream.
Agree with other posters that everyone is different so it's hard to make recommendations. What one person's skin can tolerate another's may not be able to. Your daughter may need to do some experimenting to find what she likes and works for her but there are plenty of affordable choices so that doing so won't hurt the bank too much.

I wouldn't buy skincare for anyone unless it's products they specifically asked for. This board is full of opinions and there are all kinds of options out there. I like an array of products that range from dirt cheap to a little pricey. Your daughter needs to do her own homework to find products she believes are suitable. Maybe you can arrange a shopping day to buy them once she decides.

@Applecakes Thank you ![]()
! I am a Bargain Babe when it comes to my love of affordable skincare and makeup products
! The cetaphil facial cleanser works so well that I don't have to use any makeup remover before or after using it- its so great!
I also use Cetaphil Sensitive Skin cleanser which works equally as well as their hydrating cleanser.
Here are some more of my favorite drugstore products:

Olay Daily Facials Daily Hydrating 66 Count they're $12.99 and great for when you're on vacation, spending an overnight somewhere or going to the gym. I love these because they're a dry cloth that's activated by water in the sink and you rub it together and foam it up and wash your face and after I use it my skin is so soft and clean. These are great for nights when I watch TV too late and I'm ready to throw in the towel on my nightly beauty routine, but need to rinse off my makeup.

Olay 7 in 1 Firming Night Cream $22- this is a night cream that I've been faithfully using every night since I was 28 years old and now I'm 35. I look great and it keeps my skin firm, bright, moisturized and clear and I even lightly layer it over my IT Cosmetics Confidence Eye Cream. This cream doesn't make me look like a 20 year old, but I have aged very slightly and very nicely since when I started using it in my late 20's and I'm happy with that! This is my favorite night cream ![]()

Purito Centella Green Level Eye Cream- $8 on Amazon and I've purchased this at east 6 times over the years. This is creamy and light and moisturizing, a great morning eye cream that really feels great- there's an unscented version of it that works really well too. I strayed from this for a month because I bought a fancy eye cream, the Elemis Peptide eye cream- not only did the Elemis eye cream smell like salmon, but it caused my eyes to water throughout the day, This eye cream is so gentle and honestly delivers better results than the Elemis cream that I tried.
