If anyone is interested in the Shark Hair Dryer shown tonight on HSN's Beauty show, if you have a Costco membership, you can get it for 139.99 through 1/29 with the $40 coupon.  Plus, it comes with the diffuser.  Only comes in black though.

I have this dryer (purchased at Costo just prior to Christmas) and I absolutley love it!  I have thick curly hair that I dry during the winter months and it's cut my drying time in half and doesn't damage my hair.

I have fine curly hair, so I'm happy with my Hot tools/Black Orchid diffuser combo.  The outside of my hair dries pretty fast and, in fact, I sometimes have to spritz with more water before adding product, so I'm mostly interested in getting the roots dry.

My husband pointed the deal out after seeing the Dyson TSV presentation for their dryer.  I don't think it came with a diffuser either, but can't remember. HSN's Shark one didn't though, so it's an added bonus for curlies to get it at Costco.  Does it have holes at the tips fo the fingers?  That's a must for me since I'm aiming for the roots.

Funny, in one of the Dyson presentations, the host mentioned that the only person who had told her they didn't like it was her mother who had thin, fine hair and said it dried it too quickly.

Re: Shark Hair Dryer

[ Edited ]

Thank you for posting.  I am looking for a new dryer and almost bought it last night but I wanted to read some reviews first.   I started reading the reviews at HSN and for every good there is a bad.  Alot of negatives are for how heavy it is and thats why i need a new dryer...
