If anyone has hard water you know what a difference in means in getting your hair soft and thoroughly clean. Even with a water softener it's not the same as having softer water. When I travel to other areas I can't wait to wash my hair -- huge difference. I wish Chaz would address this issue and develop a CC to combat the affects of hard water.

We have "softened" hard water. I don't know how hard your water is, but ours is SO hard that even with the softener, we still can't drink it, and it leaves white deposits behind. That said, I use WEN with great success. I wet my hair thoroughly before applying, and use maybe more water than would normally be required to "froth it up". I know I use WAY more than a "splash". That may make the difference for me, or your water could just be even harder than mine! {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

I hope someone has better advice for you than I do.

My well water, at our cottage, is just lightly "hard". We have a natural water softener (no salt!). Whenever we are there my hair always turns out soooo nice! Very noticeable improvement! Smile

Have you asked him about it instead of wishing for it? Call the number on the back of your bottle and ask for this. Use Facebook and Twitter to ask. The worst thing that could possibly happen is he will say no or not get back to you, which is no different than where you are now, right? And maybe he'll hear from others and think it's a good idea.

Too many people wish for things instead of taking even a simple action that could help those wishes come true. Call him and ask.

I am not on Facebook or Twitter, and don't want to be. I went to the web site to ask about this but in order to submit a comment they require more information than I care to provide. But you are right, it is a good idea to at least bring it to his attention somehow. I'm sure others feel the same way about hard water being an issue.

Look for EDTA in shampoo and conditioners. it removes the mineral buildup in your hair

ChynnaBlue is absolutely right about asking instead of wishing. Here's a couple much simpler - and quicker - suggestions for you: email Chaz's salon (customerservice@chazdean.com), do the online chat on his website or better yet, pick up your phone, dial (323) 467-6444 and call his salon directly and ask the reps your question. you'll get an immediate answer without wasting a bunch of time going onto some online chat board to ask and having to wait around for responses that may or may not be of any help.

it never ceases to astonish me how many people prefer to come on this board and ask questions such as yours - to which they get tons of varied responses of which may or may not be of any help to them - rather than picking up their phone and making a simple quick phone call to a place that can give them immediate personalized one-on-one assistance. sometimes i think that people just WANT to make things harder for themselves rather than easier. geesh...

It is definitely true that you should ask for what you want, but is it so bad that those who desire to, post on a chat/conversation board to maybe, I don't know...just have a conversation?!

Nothing at all wrong with asking, and I have gotten a lot of help from multiple reply's on this board...Chaz has great customer service, but asking here is so helpful also, an the conversation is a "help" in itself.Smiley Happy
