Hi:
I spend most of my time on these boards over at Fashion or Kitchen, but I have a beauty products question that I thought you all might be able to help with.
My teen granddaughter has on her Christmas list a set of eye shadow by Urban Decay. It's at Sephora. I usually order presents online and have them delivered to my daughter, to hold for Christmas. Then DH and I fly out to see them, and wrap presents when I get there.
My question is, will eye makeup (eye shadow) stand up well to shipping by Sephora? Or, should I buy it here in the store, and pack it in my suitcase? I don't want broken eye makeup.
Thanks for any help or advice you can provide. Makeup isn't my area of expertise lol.

It had to be shipped from somewhere to Sephora and it made it that far. Perhaps it can make it to your house intact. I would think, if there were any damage, it would be entirely a coinky dink. I have ordered lipstick, eye shadow, etc., from QVC and it arrived to my house intact.

I have never received anything broken from Sephora. Just QVC.

I order from Sephora all of the time, and never had a problem.

I am sure it will be fine. Never had anything arrive broken from them.

If by some chance something happens Sephora is great on returns/exchanges. Just save the receipt. I have ordered many things and nothing has ever come damaged.

Just adding to the others who have mentioned not ever having received a damaged item from Sephora. Although I have two Sephora stores not too far from me, I order online 99% of the time, and never have had an issue. I believe you'll be okay! ![]()

I wanted to add that I have 2 orders from Sephora, dated 11/11 and 11/13 that have not been charged to my account and are listed as pending. I don't know if I would trust their shipping at this time of year as mine has not even been shipped.
