Self Tanning....

[ Edited ]

When you self tan...do you do your face?

Last night Courtney when she was on with Tarte, said she does not use the self tanner on her face.

She uses a bronzer.

Sometimes I will do face only-- like in the Winter.

Good question and yesterday and this morning I heard Alberti RAVE about 2 different brands!  QVC are doing daming to themselves.  Alberti isn't the only host with mixed messages

Self tanner is gross and no one looks good in it.  No one.

@matty liz    I don't self-tan, so it wouldn't apply here but different buyers like different things.  I think it's quite possible both work well, but would appeal to different buyers.

Any differences between the 2 tanners that someone would want to know?  I'm not including what wouldn't matter to me because that could throw your post off topic.

I only self tan my face, and a little on my neck/decolletage (sic)  and arms @CherryHugs

Not really to look super bronzed but to hide imperfections, redness etc.

I'm too cheap to use it on my legs and that half is rarely seen !   ha ha

I think several of the hosts do a very poor job of blending around the ankles and feet!

So obvious!

Best sunless tanners I have used are Tan Luxe face drops...you put a drop or two into your moisturizer. It does give me a nice glow on my super pale face! One drop works for me .

I also like Josie Maran sunless tanning oil...but it was

too costly on her show last week.

When I had that I used on face and arms.

Sometimes I use the Active Argan tined drops and it is super nice too. I use that on my face.

Yes so funny how they sell their sunless tanner and go on and on about how fantastic it works on your face lol.

@CherryHugs    I hear hosts contradict themselves about which tanner is best and how to apply all the time!  This drives me crazy!  I actually purchased two different kinds that I'm too afraid to use for fear of looking orange and crazy.

The last one I bought was St Tropez Express Tanning Mousse.  During the presentation, both Alberti and Amy claimed this was their favorite.

I sometimes notice self tanners seem to intensify freckles, dark spots, and blemishes on the skin too.  I'd never really thought about it doing this before.
