@JeanLouiseFinch Hi, sorry that I didn't mention which product I used. Honestly I didn't know nakery had more than one option in tanners.
I purchased Nakery Beauty Multi-vitamin Tanning serum for face and body.
I did exfoliate - night before. I was pretty smooth.
I think I read that some people add this serum (or maybe it was on the bottle) into a body moisturizer first. Anyway, I don't think it was ideal that I added moisturizer over it pretty quickly, but not really a big deal - don't think it did anything particularly negative to the result.
I'm a few days after 1 application and I still have good color on my legs. There is no scent. And I'm not dry looking.
There is no covering of my leg imperfections - but overall my legs just look better / healthier. I do wish it would cover more. I could try and see what more applications do. However, I don't want to be too dark. I have plenty of time to play with this tho, so I'll report back.
Another good thing to report is that it did not make any dark spots darker - which seems pretty miraculous! The few other self tanners I've used in the past seemed to do that. What is weird to me, or maybe I don't understand the science of self tanning, is that I have some white spots on my skin - like no pigment or llittle pigment (not sure why) - but this tanner did not cover those spots at all. Do self tanners need skin to have pigment in order to work?
