SPF question

If I wear sunscreen with spf30 and foundation with spf20, what am I getting for protection?Is my foundation alone enough without the sunscreen? My concern is that I'm not using enough foundation to protect without looking too made up but I feel like I have layers and layers (serum,sunscreen,primer,foundation,setting spray). Thanks for the help
