EXPIRATION DATES on Beauty Products

I recently purchased Stila's tinted moisturer which I love. Actually, this is the first makeup product that actually had an expiration date. I wish more cosmetic companies would do this. I have never seen an expiration date on a beauty product - this is a first for me. It could be because it has an SPF in it.
