Calling @nyc1: I did find the blush video. I tend to use a sweeping motion with a brush (the IT Face Brush with the large end and smaller end on the other side...can't remember the brush name) for powder blush and a more tapping motion with fingers for cream blush.
Note: I don't agree with her placement. She's way too low for anyone who's a bit older. The blush should be applied higher...I feel for the cheekbone and go above that and do sweep upward towards the hairline (more of a crescent shape instead of rounded) for a lifted look. My rule of thumb that I was taught was to stay 2 fingers away from the nose and begin the application under the pupil of of the eye.
Yes, it will look weird at first if you've been applying blush in circular motions on the apples of the cheek too close to the nose and lower on the face then going upwards. The makeup artist method lifts the face and also leaves the face light and bright in the center of the face....a natural highlighting and a way to give shape back to the face after foundation.
BTW, I noticed when she removed some foundation to demo the next blush, her foundation did not match her skintone...way too dark. Without foundation, her skin was much lighter. Did you see that? it makes me doubt her expertise.
***Not sure I answered exactly what you were asking. If not, page me again.

@Effie54 @Icegoddess It's diffficult to find a liner that's both easy to remove and has staying power (waterprrof). I can suggest Lancome's Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover...the best I've tried.
*** Wet the cotton pad with very warm water (not hot) and then put some remover on it. Hold it against the eye for a few seconds to dissolve the eye makeup and then gently remove by swiping outward to avoid pulling the delicate eye area.

Yes! That sounds like a very good idea. I never thought to wet the pad before putting the eye makeup remover on it. I will most definitely try that. Thanks again Shanus! 💖

@Shanus I do use Lancome's Bi-Facil. I don't wet it first, but I do hold it in place before sweeping. But, I then use a cleansing balm on my face for the rest of my makeup which I also use on my eyes. It doesn't irritate my eyes even if I open them. If I feel there's eyeliner that hasn't come off, I'll run a Q-tip along the line.
@Effie54 I actually use 2 liners on my upper lid. I start with a pencil and then go over it with a liquid.

@Icegoddess I usually use a pencil (waterproof), but still set it with a powder shadow.

@Shanus wrote:@Effie54 Hello. My go to liner is Urban Decay 24/7 pencils. They are soft enough to work with, waterproof and give a great tightline, smudge between lashes or line upper lid close to the lashes. They also come in many colors. I prefer Sailor which is a dark navy. There are also greys, browns and of course black. You can venture into purples, etc. too.
@Shanus How do these liners sharpen? I have never had luck with a pencil liner....when I need to sharpen it never goes well.
@Mom2Dogs I always use a round, heavy sharpener I purchased for my artist pencils...clean/perfect sharpen each time. It's on Amazon and made by Mobius + Rupert. It's a brass sharpener made in Germany....a bit expensive, but you'll never need another one.
@Shanus Thanks, I have pitched many a pencil because of the sharpening (bad) issue.

@Shanus THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time and your priceless tips. Always appreciated. I've been applying in a circular motion, but not on the apples of my cheeks. I've actually been doing it close to what you've suggested. Thanks.

My RMS pencil did everything you want. My only issue was having to sharpen it constantly. Other than that, I loved it!
