I am a hairdresser and I have always cut my husband's hair. He is as handsome as usual and still gets his cut every two weeks.
I don't color mine and I have been letting the style I have grow out. I occasionally give myself a slight trim. I can cut my own hair just fine.

Has anyone heard if the Lemon Tree is laying off their hairdressers ?

@Carmie I had to trim up DH's hair. He's still going to the office...waving to clients as they pick up returns 2 rooms away. He was starting to look a little shaggy. I did a fairly OK job....considering only had to deal w/ over ears & neck line. Hair on top already gone. Lol

@Shanus My DH still is not bald, though his hair is much thinner on top than it was when we were married.
I have been cutting his hair since I was 16. His hair is very wavy and impossible with a mind of it's own. He is always fussing with it.
I remember some years ago when he ran into one of his elementary teachers. He asked if she remembered him. She said " Yes, you were the little boy who combed his hair all day long" then she asked "Do you still carry a comb in your back pocket?" He pulled the comb from his pocket and they had a good laugh.

@Carmie My DH not all hairless up top either. I call it that since you see most of his head through the hair that's there. He'd been threatening the dreaded comb over. Took care of that by trimming off that longer piece, layering it nicely so it blended into sides. Difficult to cut my hair curly, so blow dry straight, use the flat iron and have to cut it dry. Since growing it out to bob w/o layers, starting to get "pyramid head" if wear curly. DH cut my "little mullet" off last month, so I can make it a few months. Our hubbies should be happy we're so talented.
Just thinking how long we all may have to wait to get appts. EVERYONE will need cut/color...not the usual 2 hr. appt. time either.

I am more concerned with getting through this thing ALIVE!!! Also, getting food and TP!
I am clean and groomed to the best of my ability and no one besides my husband is seeing me and he certainly is not worried about it. I may see a few people at Walmart occasionally but I'm not really concerned what they think. There are always scarves and hats! Wear sun glasses if you're afraid someone will recognize you! LOL!

I'm seriously thinking I just will continue to grow out the grey/white.
I dont want to cut my hair short (it's long), but maybe cut layers to soften the growing out phase.
My hairdresser has been itching to 'really' cut my hair.
